We've all heard the rhyme "April showers bring May flowers", but just what blooms in May? Follow along as we post about a new flower every day in May, some familiar, some may be new, all beautiful in their unique sort of way A small, delicate perennial, found growing in compact tufts (up to 8in. high). Can cover large expanses or found individually. Four-petaled flowers rise on fine, unbranched stems from basal rosettes.
Found in woods, moist meadow, and clearings. Not to be confused with forget-me-nots which are much larger, clustered, and have 5 petals.
