Phew! That was a full month of flowers! Did you follow along? This month we learned about mayapple, phlox, geranium, bellwort, fairy bells, squawroot, greater Celandine, Solomon seal & plume, baneberry, meadow rue, trillium, bluets, greek valerian, dwarf ginseng, sweet Cicely, corn salad, rue anemone, dame's rocket, flag iris, star of Bethlehem, false mermaid, purple pitcher plant, fleabane, cinquefoil, hawkweed, alsike clover, thimbleweed, pineapple weed, buttercup, and campion! Even after learning about all of those, there were still so many others that came into bloom in May... I guess the saying is correct, April showers do bring May flowers! Other May Flowers...I hope you had fun and learned something new!
