This showy white flower is a member of the buttercup family (ranunculaceae). White baneberry has a showy white 'burst' of a flower in May that will form white 'dolls eyes' berries in the summer. All parts of this plant are highly toxic.
Differentiated from red bane berry by its thick floral stalk.
