It can be hard making time to get outside when the air is crisp and the ice is plenty. One way to stay motivated is to have a hiking partner to keep you motivated and so you can hold eachother accountable. It's a good idea in this inclimental weather, in case of a slip or emergency, to have someone to help immediately.
As always, when hiking in poor weather conditions or on ice always dress appropriately and have proper footwear to ensure the best time outdoors! This time of year Barne's Preserve has been a great park to get outdoors and moving with minimal hills but lots to see.
